Eucalyptus leaves

Body Pain - home made remedy

 

Disclaimer:  This is a remedy inherited from our Indian roots.  Try at own risk.

For new mum and adults only.  (Can be done by any adult experiencing body aches and pains).

 

We normally do this 9 days after birth.

 

What you need:

Eucalyptus leaves with stem ( about 3-4 branches)

Guava leaves with stem (about 3-4 branches)

Method:

Boil the leaves in a large pot with water (about 10l).  Take water to the bathroom.  Remove leaves and stem and place on the floor of the bath/shower.  The new mum can sit on a stool while placing feet on the leaves.

Add cold water to the boiled water (same temperature as when you would normally have a shower).

Bathe as normal. Pour this water on her body.   

Can be done once a week or when required.
