Antenatal classes - should I attend?

If this is your first baby, I'd recommend attending.  The class we attended was useful - even if just to see how nervous the other soon to be parents were!

We attended the free 6 hour course within the same hospital where he was born.

​

I think attending the class calmed our nerves a bit especially with listening to other couples and realising we were all in the same boat having similar concerns.

 

We learned how to change a nappy, wrap a baby and how to hold him/her.  And the most critical - the four main reasons for crying - wet nappy, hungry, too warm/cold, wants to sleep.

Bring it on!  We're ready.
