I've often heard parents say 'everything changes when a child comes along'.  Like me, did you ever hear yourself say or think 'when I have my children I will raise them this way or I'd never do that (after watching another parent with their child/ren)!'

 

It's true! Nothing can prepare you for when a child comes along.  What's amazing though is how you just adjust and somehow navigate your way through the years, especially the first year. 

 

And that's my story. I have a vibrant, cheeky two year old son who has taught me so much in such a short time. Being pregnant for the first time, being a first time parent whilst exciting was daunting.

 

Google is one of my closest friends (I never knew there was so much to learn about the colour of poo!).

My hope and aim is to join you on your daily journey and provide key information that I had to find through going through various websites in one spot.

My goal is to not only focus on the children but also on you. Perhaps you are a looking for a career change that allows you flexibility to spend more time at home.  I'll share potential ideas and how to do relevant research.

I'm no expert, just a rookie parent! But I believe that in sharing we grow.  And it sure does take a village to raise a family.
